Madrid are typically about 1/8 odds on to qualify for the semi finals. We're about 5/1 against.

So, we've got what they call a 'punchers chance'. They're better than us in every department. They've the experience, the composure and the 'dark arts' all over us. They're also one up and away goals can only count in their favour.

We've got our unique home atmosphere and approach. We've also got nothing to lose.

Our best chance of scoring is to defend deep and patiently and hope to do them from set pieces or a break. If we concede first, we're done for.

They did miss two penalties today and their record from the spot is very poor. A shoot-out might be our best shot?

Lets just ho for it better than going out with a whimper, proud of them any way much further than the so called big 6 cmon !!!!!!

Dogs of war very much required

I am sure that you are aware of the warning oft-used in financial circles that goes something like "the figures refer to the past and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results".

I think the most important thing is that we, and I mean both players and fans, keep calm and do not lose our heads as we did in 1997. We can do it in 90 minutes. We don't need to give them 120.

I think that our only realistic chance is to keep a clean sheet.

If we do that, extra time and penalties are very much in the equation.

Winning the tie in 90 minutes would be incredible but it's also very, very unlikely.

The fact that they were happy to win 1-0 says it all really. They will destroy us on the break if we allow them the space. And they back themselves defensively.

A Vardy on fire or set pieces are the only way we'll score in my opinion.

"Rest the squad, play the kids, sack the board, shit in the cars, wank on the buses and plug the hanging baskets into the sofas."

That's Shaky's battle cry right there. 3-1. Nandos and WKDs for everyone.

We're only goal down and have 90 minutes at Leicester City Stadium with a Lestoh crowd to win. All the players will be up for it and when we give max efforst we can beat anyone.

Staying calm and scoring first are crucial. a 1-0 lead for us will mean they have to attack and then we can fluke a 1 on 1 chance with Vardy or maybe it'll be Leo on as a sub who drills the ball into the net with his head.

Huth out is a major loss for us as he is our standout player but this is a Captain Wes type game. He shouldn't be playing, he will play, he'll block every shot with that worreid look on his face and he'll hobble up for a Fuchs long throw and score from it with his ass.

City 2 Atletico 0 Morgan Ulloa.

UEFA website has Ndidi, Silmani and Vardy one booking away from suspension for the 1st leg of the semi-final

Do the cards carry over to the semis? I thought I read they were cancelled out after the quarters.

Our top players ie Mahrez Vardy Schmicheal need to play well and Morgan needs to play. We have to be more offensive than the second half of the first leg, but be aware of Athleticos strength on the break. We must score first, hopefully in our opening burst of power and high tempo play. The crowd will no doubt help the team, and lets hope for a decent ref and decent luck . My heart says Leicester win 2-0 Vardy Mahrez lets hope were not too deflated if we go out. WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE "WERE IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MAN" we can hold our heads up in any footballing company, are u watching Chelsea Arsenal Man Utd Man City?
