At what point does it become important to win a game? 6 games in but let’s not panic… so is it 10… 15… 20? Arguably we could win the last 12 and finish on 39…

We kept giving BR just another game…

10 games. Thems the rules

The ignore function does work pretty well to be fair. I do occasionally purposely click to see his posts though, as part of me does sometimes miss the bollocks he spouts.

But I’d recommend it. You can choose when to read the inane bullshit.
It's okay.

We might get a manager who starts winning things and then you can disappear in a huff again.

I refer the honourable member to what happened in 2015.
During that season there were a lot of games where we were very competitive and were unfortunate to lose. There were others where we were poor, however, I always felt that the tide was going to turn at some point. I'm not really getting the same vibe this time around.

Sadly, Oliver Skipp is no Esteban Cambiasso, Jamie Vardy 2025 is not the Jamie Vardy of 2015, and Odsounne Eduoard is definitely not Leo Ulloa.
Ridiculous we have entered a PL season with only a 38 year old striker able to keep up PL standard for two thirds of a match.

Quick question. For those who are saying we’re doing ok - and I do see the point…

Which of our games so far did you ever feel confident we were going to win?
I have reached a point where I have almost no confidence in our tactics. Even if we managed to go 3-0 up again I’d be checking at FT for the inevitable 4th to go in for the opposition.

I don’t see where it’s coming from.
I feel the same. Inevitability moved in a while ago.

Probably your most insightful post yet, Joe. Keep up the good work fella, you’ll get there.

Other than Southampton we weren't great in our six pointers last season and that turned out alright. Other than the 12 points we got out of those 2 games we were a bit shit against immediate rivals.
True.

But last season our immediate rivals were the better teams in the league. We could make up points against the poorer team. This season, our immediate rivals are the worst teams in the league. Don’t pick up wins agains them and it’s not so easy to make points up again the better teams.

Indeed. Point is we could (in theory) make up points elsewhere. Realistically we're not beating anyone so 6 pointers or 3 pointers are purely fictional.

Ipswich seemingly signed two decent strikers too so it can be done.

We signed Ayew, Édouard, and Bobby. I don’t want to be rude, but damn.

Nothing rude in pointing out what a waste of time those are.

Oddly I thought we would win against Palace and do so quite comfortably however, SC made mental subs and went negative. For me we have to have a real crack at the opposition in the next game, it is about building confidence and taking that into the subsequent games.

If SC is going to persist with his signings I just pray we click and we start to do something imaginative in the final third. 6 points from the next 4 games would be bliss anything extra would be amazing, Ipswich and Saints will be crucial.

I hope to **** he plays a positive attacking line up for this one, I fear not though.

2-0 win, with a goal from the “not as good as Tom Cannon” Odsonne Edouard.
