This is where our season really starts, as no one expected us to beat Arsenal.

However, Brighton will set up defensively. Vardy won't have the same space, and we struggled to break teams down with that last season.

Negative, but I wonder if Brighton will nick it. 0-1 and huge disappointment.

Tweak the starting 11 a bit for me, and we should be fine. I would play:

Schmeichel

Simpson Morgan (alas) Maguire Fuchs

Albrighton James Mahrez

Okazaki

Vardy Iheanacho

I'd like to see Slimani starting and get right into them nice and early. I have visions of us letting them keep the ball for the first 20 minutes, giving them a goal and capitulating massively in the vague hope of a decent counter attack or for Mahrez to pull something out of his arse.

Schmeichel

Simpson / Morgan / Maguire / Fuchs

Gray / N'Didi / James / Albrighton

Okazaki / Vardy

Almost certainly. Unless Nacho is really going to move into that no. 10 role instead of Okazaki.

Be very surprised if it's not the same starting line-up as against Arsenal, with the possible exception of Iheanacho in for Shinji.

I suspect he'll start with Shinji and bring Iheanacho on, partly to avoid too much pressure being put on the new man from kick off in his home debut.

Strangely for the second game of the season, I think it's a very important game to get a win in. We've got a very tough start, so a home game against a newly promoted team is one we've got to be looking to win to get some early points on the board.

Went to ride Leicester yesterday, the course went through the stadium the pitch looks perfect

We need to find a place/formation to suit Iborra (it appears not a 442) We will continue to be overan in midfield especially in away games whilst pitching our 2 against oppents 3, it worked with Kante because he covers the ground of 2 men. Id also start Ianachio and Gray. Provided we keep Knockaert quiet we should win this, id say 2-1 Vardy Ianachio

you're dropping NDidi and playing 2 wingers one of whom is powderpuff when it comes to physicality in CM?

I'd play Chilwell over Fuchs, Huth if he's ready of Morgan and maybe Iheanacho over Shinji and I'd consider starting Gray

Yes, four changes after just one game is exactly what we need....
Iheanacho when fit is going to play with Vardy so that isn't really a change, Morgan is finished, Huth is better, so if he's fit he should play, the closer to deadline day the more likely Mahrez is to kick up a fuss so you monitor him during training to see what he's head is like

How fit do you want him to be?

He's had no pre-season and the only football he's played is an hour for the under 23s.
I agree this is probably too soon for him, that's why I said if he's ready, but if the medical staff say he is fit enough to play 90 mins I'd play him

It will be the same side. If Ibbora is fit it may be worth considering him over James but other than than, until we invest in a CB or have a fit Robert Huth, we can't really change much.

We are genuinely ****ed if we can't make some changes to our defence.

Lee Probert is the ref for this game. His first in the PL this season.

Edit; Actually his first in the PL since May 2015.
