Exactly why I think they could do it. Outside of Manchester nobody is showing any real consistency, which leaves two spaces up for grabs. I think Man City are too good this year for them to be in with a chance of pulling off any Leicester-like title winning miracles but I think the top four is in their sights this year.

Well, then we must be in with a chance. The Burnley game should give us a realistic idea of our progress for the rest of the season
Are we really on the up or was our result against spurs just a reaction to our pathetic performance last season? I hope and think both may be true, onwards and upwards for LCFC.

the only change we should consider is Gray for Shinji, we will have more of the ball, Burnley will defend deeper and we will need to find a way to create something, Shinji doesn't offer much in that way

Serious question, how much longer is R. Huth out for? Last bit I remember is the '6-8 weeks' stuff from months back.

the injury is very bad, there is some talk of him having to retire, don't expect him back any time soon

Top six is there for us, as is a League Cup. Whether we take it or not it's far too early to say.

What happens in January window will be instructive.

Shame. Even if he regains fitness, the long he's out the harder he'll find an opportunity to get back in the first team with H. Maguire doing his job.

Well we're only 8 behind Burnley and beating them at the weekend will narrow that to a measly 5... why not take it for ourselves again?

5-1 Leicester. Gibson, Stringfellow, Rodrigues, Gibson 2

I can see this game ending 1 - 0 to city. Burnley will be difficult to break down but I think we will have enough to score the crucial winner.

0-0.
Then an anxious few days as we wait to see if the result at the baseball ground stands.
I so remember that day back in May 1983.
I was living down south then and me and Andy, a fellow City fan from Worthing, came up to Leicester on the train, the bit from London upwards with the London branch of the Leicester City Supporters Club.
What with the celebrations afterwards Andy finding himself in front of the main stand and me in pen 3 of The Kop, it was party time.

We were still celebrating when I took the opportunity at Victoria station to phone home to say what time I'd possibly be home and my wife broke the news of the possible replay of the Derby/Fulham game. As we didn't have a Radio or mobile phone ( not in those days) with us, we hadn't got a clue what had happened at Derby, so spent the rest of the journey with an anxiousness replacing the celebrations mood of earlier. "Surely they can't do it" and "how could Fulham score twice in a couple of minutes"

It was an anxious wait, a few days I think, until they eventually let the result stand and we were up into the First Division after 2 years away.

I fear they will frustrate us and out battle us. They have some very good quality in Brady and Wood is destined to score against us. 2-0 to Burnley.

If Brady and Wood are very good quality, what are Mahrez and Vardy?
