Ok, cards on the table time...

Winning this would be too good to be true. I'm still not totally convinced by us and think we could get turned over at any moment. Mobility in defence is key for me. If we play a team that is dangerous on the counter and defends well, we could be in trouble.

Camarasa? Something like that anyway. Right in front of us. Shit game.

Our team from that game

Schmeichel
Ricardo
Maguire
Soyuncu
Chilwell
Ndidi
Mendy
Maddison
Albrighton
Gray
Vardy

Stunning how that total **** Puel couldn’t get a tune out of that lot

When Puel first took over, we played some scintillating stuff, making a mock of the Saints fans jibing. Then it all just turned to ratshit.
BR's tenure seemed to follow a similar path.

The owners should have followed a similar path and got rid of BR a lot quicker, but hey, we're not bitter :(

Michael Appleton was not complementary about Puel whilst on commentary duty last week.

Will today be the day that the ludicrous selection of Vestergaard comes back to haunt EM?

Cardiff appear to have some pace going forward which is exactly what will kill the Vestergaard revival.

I'd like to see Justin come in and Doyle move across but it doesn't look like EM has confidence in that.

The only other issue is the right wing position. Nobody has looked any good there so I'd probably go with Marcal again, purely because at least he might improve.

I guess he could decide to go back to Vardy but that would be a mistake. His role is as a late sub now and we have to persist with Iheanacho. He will blow hot and cold as the only striker but he will also score loads in this league if we pick him every week.

My side:

Hermansen
Faes Doyle Justin
Ricardo Winks
Marcal Casadei Dewsbury-Hall Mavididi
Iheanacho

My thoughts exactly.... Has he got the balls to drop Vestergaard and play Justin. I'm intrigued to see.

I don’t disagree, but I can’t see it happening.

Lucky there aren’t (m)any of those in the Championship.

Cardiff lost to QPR in their last game. This should be a comfortable win for us.
Should be
Could be
But will it be?

If only football was so predictable
Then again, that’s why we love the bloody thing .

Vesti May get found out today
Then again he may not, but his performances so far THIS season doesn’t warrant him being dropped today.
You could drop any player on the basis that the next game could be the one where they’re found out.

Vestergaard deserves to keep his place in the team.
