As games go this is a definite 6 pointer this weekend and will add more daylight between us and more importantly 5th place. It will also pull us closer to Man City February is a huge month for us.
How does it.move us away from 5th and nearer to 2nd? OK we've got the early game but both will have a game on hand.As games go this is a definite 6 pointer this weekend and will add more daylight between us and more importantly 5th place. At least we'll have the infallible VAR system to back us up- - -Bollocks Mason gives us nothing ever.

14th time lucky, thenBR has failed to beat Chelsea in his 13 attempts as a manager since leaving them.
No. We can be confident that Chelsea's players can handle the ball in their own area as much as they want.I think Mason was the VAR on Tuesday night. So we can be confident that our players can handle the ball in their own area as much as they want.
Chelsea have fallen off a cliff recently.
7 points from last 6 away games. Only scored 7 goals in those games. Plus it looks like both Abraham & Pulisic will be out.
You'd say that would be positive for us.
On the other hand...it's a big game against a "big club"
So, cue freezing like rabbits in the headlights, playing like a bunch of 9 year olds & queuing up for Lampard's autograph in the ****ing tunnel.
I want to be wrong.
Chilwell and Mason Mount to exit the tunnel holding hands and giggling.
Strange that the VAR official was not named on the Ref association’s web site and doesn’t appear to have been named in the mediaI think Mason was the VAR on Tuesday night. So we can be confident that our players can handle the ball in their own area as much as they want.
Typo I meant 4th place i.e. it being a 6 pointer, if we win as it is the early game it puts us closer to Man City and applies the pressure to them. How does it.move us away from 5th and nearer to 2nd? OK we've got the early game but both will have a game on hand.
Agreed also if we apply the same intensity as we did against West Ham we should have too much in the locker for them. The teams below us have to make up ground on us.
The pressure is all on Chelsea. A draw is a good result for us so I'm hopeful that we can play with a freedom that has been lacking recently.
You might be thinking of a different tunnel. There's a place for that sort of thing.
Well, 2 actually. The privacy of your own home or a Rugby club tour.
