Yeah not a great start at all.

No confidence in the team at all.

I forgot that early televised kick off games are BT Sport and not Sky, so my plans to watch this went out the window.

As soon as I saw we have Ward and Amartey starting, I felt quite happy about that oversight.

Not conceded yet! But think we'll still concede at least 4

We look brighter, as usual, going forward.

Barnes, Daka and Maddison combining well. Tielemans getting on the ball a lot.

Still a bombscare defensively though.

I think this will finish 4-2 to Palace still, but had expected us to concede in the opening 10 mins so going better than anticipated so far.

I feel like the Saturday lunchtime game is always prime for a bit of an upset, so maybe we'll deliver one by actually winning a game - or getting a clean sheet!

I must once again say - these are there for the taking. I’ve seen very little from our opposition generally this season.

We seriously miss a Wilf of 2/3 years ago, or a Kante.

Soumare is improving but he’s neither of those.

Other than a few minutes of good City play via Barnes it’s been a dreadful match
I’d argue that Rodgers being there is worse for Madderz.

What a truly atrocious half of football. Any neutral who sticks with this is either asleep or has lost the remote.

I’d argue that Rodgers being there is worse for Madderz.

You could, but you'd making a ridiculous argument.

You can say many things about Rodgers - but he's absolutely getting the best from Maddison over the last 6 months or so, but particularly recently. And Maddison has spoken himself about Rodgers is improving his game.
