That was a baptism of fire, now the team and we know what the top sides can do. It certainly is a real step up in class, if we get a draw today they will have done well.
 
No time to breathe on the ball. Will need to adapt quickly to that. Pulled back crosses working well for Everton. Best bet of getting back into it is set pieces and Schmeichel's boot as they aren't liking those big clearances. No doubt why we bought Ulloa in.

Definitely need reinforcements bringing in with all these injuries we are picking up and it's only the first game!

I totally agree, we need bigger squad, however getting quality players is going to cost an arm and a leg.
 
While Everton have obvious quality down the left they've cleverly targeted it as an area to play in. Only in the last five minutes have they even shown an interest in attacking down the right.

We're looking brighter in an attacking sense in the second half.

It's admirable that we're still trying to play possession football but Everton are better than us and we would be far better off just sticking the ball in the box repeatedly...
