Good goal from our only shot on target

Quality touch pace and finish there. If he can up his tempo he's a quality player is Ian. Just too lackadaisical at times which doesn't work in our team...

Well, that was truly awful, wasn't it

Fleetwood being robbed so far

We need to be braver and get bodies into better areas. Too much pissing about in the middle part of the pitch.

Great ball from Slimani and excellent finish but both strikers are coming too short time and time again with no room for expansive play. Iheanacho looks like he wants to be involved more tonight which bodes well and I did like how calmly he finished that move.

As for Benalouane, he's as dreadful as I thought he was and should have been off for that awful tackle. Silva is a bit of a mess of a player but I, like City Fan, am holding out hope based on how shite Iborra was in his first couple of games.

Good job our keeper was up to it tonight, or we could have been behind instead of a lucky 1-0 lead.
I like the look of Jakupovic. His distribution is miles better than Kasper's and he looks like he's a decent shot stopper as well.

Just watching the replay of that goal, Iheanacho does really well.

What have we learnt that we didn't already know? Benny is a walking time bomb. We don't take these games as seriously as we should.

I dunno, we're just unbelievably lame. As though we think we're too good to lose. There's no urgency at all. Maybe that's the game plan. Play keep ball, don't exert ourselves and let a supposed difference in class count.

Because, on what I've seen so far, we really can't be arsed and we couldn't complain if we came in 1 down.

When did we buy Benny? Was he a Walsh signing? Because i'm not sure what anyone saw in him. He's an red card or someones broken ankle waiting to happen.

Ranieri signing. His recommendation.

Moral of that story is never put managers in charge of recruitment.

One reason why I'm sceptical of our sudden interest in random french league nobodies.
