Can you explain why my post doesn't usually come until around 12:30?

Is it because the postman can't be bothered to get up early enough?

In May 2002 upper management Leighton and others reorganised RM and got rid of the night staff. So instead of getting the post out at 7 we now have to prepare our own mail and are lucky if were out for 9.30. As most walks are between 3.5 and 4 hrs long this means delivery time between 9:30 and 13:30. Also not all ofices are fully staffed. Were currently 10 staff down so a number of walks are done on overtime after youve done your first walk so between 13:30 and 17:30

This side of Rotherham we don't do too badly and usually get the post in the morning unless our postie is covering another round in which case if he/she (yes sometimes we get a young girl) does the other round first we get the post just after lunchtime.
