Genuinely considering not going.

It's hard enough watching us play the most boring football I've ever seen when we have something to play for, never mind when it means **** all.

I'll also be pissed off if he lets then play with freedom and urgency as it is too late.

Yep, feeling exactly the same, which is pretty tragic and pathetic, really

Other than us contributing to Mark Hughes effectively taking two clubs down in the same season, I have no interest in this game

Genuinely going, for the first time this season. I know the season is over - everybody says so - but I'm going!

Just wondering now whether I can get back to Kilby Bridge (on the old A50, apparently) or Newton Harcourt by public transport after the game. Any local transport experts on here?

The season is over but, again, a lot of our fans must have very short memories...

The season being "over" when we're sat in 8th in the Prem when there's still 10 teams who could get relegated isn't something we would be complaining about before.

If we can hold onto 8th it's been a good season. Yes we should've pushed Burnley harder and put up more of a fight for 7th place. But that doesn't make 8th bad.

Having said that, we need to finish the season with a bit of form. Because however absurd it may seem, the negativity and unrest amongst our fans is growing. So we need the season with some good form - and good performances - to turn that around. Otherwise I can see this being like so many other seasons from the last 10-15 years where a manager is giving the summer to see what they can do with a proper pre-season and a chance to recruit their own players, and then as soon as a few results go against them they're hounded by October and we repeat the whole thing again. I don't want that to become our annual cycle again.

To Kilby Bridge, get the 47A or 48A Arriva bus to Wigston Cemetery. It's a 10ish minute walk from there to The Navigation ( http://thenavigationatkilbybridge.co.uk/ ).

The 47A leaves Freemen's Common at 21:40, 22:10 and 22:40, the 48A from University Road at 21:55.

So we give Silva 2 games and drop him again?

I can understand that point of view. He's started five league games this season. We drew two of them and lost three.
The last game he didn't start, we won.

I'm not blaming poor performances just on him, but I haven't seen anything from him yet to suggest he was worth the wait.
I'd play him against Southampton though, we can't write him off after only a handful of games.

Well, Puel has said that he wants to use the remaining games to prepare for next season and look at options. Given that Hamer is out of contract at the end of the season I would expect him to start with Jakupovic. However, if he goes with Hamer, maybe that will be a sign that he is to be offered a new contract.

How unappealing is this game?

Southampton on a Thursday night with **** all to play for.

It is appealing to me I envy you Lako.
I booked theatre tickets knowing that Leicester do not have matches on a Thursday - never ever on a Thursday. I then have to miss the West Ham game for a family occasion. Damn. I cannot remember the last time I missed two home games running. .
Enjoy the games Lako.
