Interesting to hear EM say today that he was at the KP that night, as part of the West Ham coaching staff. He said that he was on the team coach in the car park preparing to leave when the helicopter went down.

11 years ago today I posted this and felt on top of the world.

Been a rollercoaster... I'd take the 11 again.

My slight concern here is that Clarke has been their main goal threat this season and he plays on the left side of their attack. That’s the space Ricardo vacates when we’ve got the ball and so I’m a bit worried it will leave us vulnerable on that side.

If you know that, Enzo most certainly will.

Leicester and Sunderland haven’t faced in the league since the 2016-17 Premier League campaign – the Foxes won 2-0 at the King Power that season.

Sunderland are winless in three league visits to Leicester (D1 L2) since a 2-0 win on New Year’s Day 2007 under Roy Keane.

Leicester City have won five of their opening six league games at home in 2023-24 (L1) – the Foxes are looking to win six of their first seven at home for the first time since 2019-20 in the Premier League.

Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray has only won one of his nine league meetings with Leicester City (D4 L4), a 2-1 away win with West Bromwich Albion in December 2007. This is his first against the Foxes since a 2-1 loss with Middlesbrough in August 2013.

Leicester have won their last three home league games without conceding a goal – the Foxes last had a four-game winning run without conceding on home soil in November/December 1973.
