I like how you've missed out Liverpool from that list. Bit selective that.

Could argue that performance was all about the reaction to Ranieri's sacking

Other than that it's absolutely right to say we've looked piss poor against all the big teams in the league under Shakey, mostly because we've played as if we were scared of them.

A woeful first half - outclassed in every single area of the pitch, and quite embarrassing to watch

Benalouane so far out of his depth, it's untrue

Way, way to easy for Spurs but they have been playing very good.

I'd take Shinji off at HT for Grey and try and keep the ball a bit more.

Maybe bring Was on towards the end just to **** em up a bit as I've still not forgiven them for making me cry at Wembley in '99. ****s.

Not great was it. Haven't been in it since they scored, just hit and hope. Benalouane has been dreadful. Too busy waving for offside than tracking back just in case for their first.

It looks pretty nailed on that Shakespeare will get the gig but I have my worries if it's the right choice. If we want to be able to compete with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City, Man U, Chelsea etc then Mancini would be a much better option. Shakespeare strikes me as a short term choice rather than an appointment with long term prospects despite what the players say about wanting him in charge. Really depends on our level of ambition. If we are just looking to seal a Premier League place year after year (by no means a bad thing) then Shakespeare is a great choice..
but does anyone still yearn for a taste of more silverware in the future? To do that you've got to be able to beat the big boys really and we're just not at that level at the minute.

Another point of note is how frustrated Mahrez looks out there. He will be off this coming window.

If we aren't going to try and compete with the big sides, which is what it's starting to look like...could you really blame him?

Just smacks a little bit of "back to normal" for me.

He's been moaning that he's the big fish in asmall pond and that's why he's not had a great season and the focus is on him. Seems to forget Kasper and Vardy have also been linked with big transfers, both last season and this. If we manage to keep them and add a few more quality additions then that'd be great. Hopefully he wants to be a part of what we're trying to build here. At the minute we are lacking a bit of quality in some areas and a bit of a lack of quality in depth.

Too easy.

What the **** was Benny doing there? Running out completely away from where the danger was lurking.
