The VAR decision on Sunday was on a question of fact; tonight's was on a question of opinion. VAR will never be consistently correct on matters of opinion. Refs in the box will show bias just as refs on the pitch do.

Tonight's ref in the box is Peter Bankes. Never heard of him.

Not sure it's harsh, his hand is clearly up and in his face. Soft, yes. Harsh, no.

We should've had the first half one anyway.
 
how did they stop Barnes from scoring there? Barnes really is struggling to get on the scoresheet regularly!
