Guessing N'didi more or less has to play - injured or not. Let's hope it pays off. Shakey has run out of reasons for not picking Iborra - including his completion of the mandatory injury sentence for all new signings; hopefully Silva is being allowed to serve his injury sentence before he is permitted to play assuming of course the club has sufficient competence to complete the paper work.

So much brainless in how Leicester City is run - but a win next Monday greatly appreciated. If not Shakey may struggle to justify why his pathetic reign should stumble on.

I agree that we need a change of shape, just to get the opposition off guard a bit.

In a fit world I would love to see Morgan and Huth, with Maguire in front of them providing protection and launching attacks.

Without Huth maybe substitute Fuchs for Huth and put Chilwell at left back.

we have 2 international CBs not in the team, and you want to move a left back there instead of playing either of them?

Maybe there is a reason why they do not get picked, fitness, speed, attitude?

King is an international midfielder but is a long way down my list to bring something to a game.

The prime reason why the club lost out on the opportunity to move forward from winning the title is terrible recruitment. We wasted loads of cash on players with the wrong attributes for PL football.

Currently Iborra is an interesting case. He has obvious skills (and experience), but has he got the pace for PL football? I hope it works out for all our sakes but similarities with the Inler experience ? It was sad that Inler's talents didn't fit at Leicester - let's hope that Iborra is able to adapt for his own sake as well as the club's.

King gets into the Wales squad because they don't have many players to chose from - simple as that. He's lost that early career extra spark that supposedly attracted Everton and he's now playing in the wrong league. It's not his fault that the club is down to the bare bones in midfielders.

the reason our recruitment doesn't work in midfield is we keep signing players that play in a 3 and wonder why they cannot play in a 2.

disagree re King, he hasn't lost the spark he had he's had it taken away from him. Since Pearson came back he was removed from his attacking goalscoring role in a 433 and placed into a defensive role in a 442, if we went back to the 433 starting Monday and gave King that role back you would see the player of old, the player that was scoring 10+ goals a season and winning player of the year, but we have chosen to take a player out of a role that he is best suited to and put him in a role he can "do a job" in and now wonder why he's not playing as well.

Inler is a holding man in a 433, so is Iborra, stop buying players that aren't suited to our obsession with 442

I always remember Sven talking about Andy King as if he was the Christian Vieri of the team. I think Kingy is an excellent player if playing as a number 10, but depressingly in the division below. Not convinced he's Premiership level myself.

As Skitzo said he is good enough he is being played out of position and has been for a number of years
Are you really suggesting that players are so incapable of adapting? If King is being played 'out of position' (although he isnt really, is he) and has spent 'years' playing there, should he not have adapted his game like hudreds or thousands of players before him have? Perhaps the problem lies with his inability to be able to do so which, in itself, makes him a bit of a liability. There is sometimes far too much 'pigeon holing' of players' 'positions' which is stripping any kind of need for a brain away from some players. Adaptability will always be a great asset to players and to a club. I'm not suggesting we should try putting Huth up front (although Steve Walsh is an example of how even this can work) but that in a midfield 2 or 3, players should be able to be both creative and/or defensive as a game dictates. Kante wasn't just a tackler, he could pick a pass forward exceptionally well and run with the ball.

Let's pull no punches here. Sentiment aside, he's not good enough for us and that is where the story ends.

I think King and his talent has been mismanaged for years. A front facing midfielder in a three was always his best position.

He's just a bog standard midfielder now, but in his early days had a great eye for goal and excellent timing in his runs.
