Why do managers/pundits/players keep mentioning this shit? We sold "one or two?" That's a lie. We lost 12 players, 9 permanently and 3 on loan.
Of the 9, we lost our best players in Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, Castagne, Soyuncu and some other solid players in Evans, Perez and Amartey. All of these players were pretty much pivotal in our Top 5 finishes and FA Cup triumph.
We ****ing lost a lot of mother ****ing players. ****s.
And don't forget our wonderful manager, Brendan Rodgers, once he was gone...

Getting his excuses in early/ trying to relieve the pressure on himself. Playing Leics/Leeds/Soton is basically a free pass for all other championship managers this year. Any points are a bonus....
