Didn't we go to Dubai last year? I remember something about our lads relaxing around the pool while Sunderland were being put through their paces by fat Sam
Some did. After the Arsenal game in february. Not organized by the club though.

Deserve a nice trip abroad.

I feel like this Liverpool win has blinded everyone to how useless these ****ers have been all season.

At least they're having a holiday after the match. Nothing said about during.

I'm not sure I'm brave enough to be optimistic today. I mean, I want to be but self protection is niggling at me to avoid disappointment. If we fvck up (again), I'll be in a foul mood.

If we pick up where we left off then we'll be fine. If. The only consistency we've shown this season is to disappoint.

Hull are in no great shape themselves though and we really ought be able to put them away... so, yes, us to win. Albeit with fingers crossed rather than blind confidence.

I'd resigned myself to the inevitability of relegation before Monday night.

Now we know the players are still capable, and so the hope and expectation has come back.

Big game today. Much depends upon it.

And if we lose today the doom and gloom will be back. The players won't give a shit, Shakespeare will have lost the plot and the world will end. It will be just like us to lose. 2-1 to Hull Shitty.

Read somewhere (hopefully not here or I get a "Whoooosh") that if Hull win today, we'll be the first reigning champions to have the double done by a newly promoted side since Norwich did it to Liverpool in the 80's. Can't happen!
