Didn't Alan Smith officially join us back on loan when he joined Arsenal in 1987? He couldn't keep us up though, so that rules him out.

Did he actually play in a match? Christ I thought he was just an unused trialist. I probably seen my all-time hero play and missed the lot. Gutted.

Did everyone close their eyes during the match he played in?

I was there, think he came on as a first half sub and did nothing in the whole match. Was it Scarbororugh at home?

We may joke about it now but Marton Fülöp was great for us.

But I do agree with you - the first proper keeper we'd had for years.

I remember Sascha Lenhart very well, dispite not one city fan ever seeing him.

Scarborough - League Cup.

The guy's a legend. MON obviously sent him on with the instruction to stay out wide, which meant he literally was running up and down the chalk on the Popular side. After ten minutes, the amount of arm waving from the Leicester bench was a joy to see, and could have powered the floodlights for a hundred years. :icon_lol:

He never played again ... though I thunk he did a few FNFs.
