OK... Shit that was, but that's that...Now then, Forest....

Play Keown, Tiatto and Connoly and we're back in bizz IMO... Maybe even Morris on the left wing?

We may have lost at home to Reading, but Forest got hammered at Derby!!!!!!

No thanks to Morris on the left wing, in the 15 minutes he played today, in my opinion, he was awful...and I've not really seen him perform well this season (again, imo)...

if Keown's back maybe we should play Dion upfront.. he has scored more than Connolly in less games...

IMO Dublin should play up front but I think CL doesn't like him there. Keown was on the bench yesterday

Maybe Dublin has improved under Levein, but I still have nightmares about how bad he was up front for us, honestly if we're looking to play a 'big man' up front I'd play Trev as he falls on his arse less than Dublin in that role and is not afraid to go in for headers.

"I felt that we didn't have enough people performing at their best as we needed to win the match today. We will use this as another learning tool and move on from here." - Levein

Lets start the moving on process by dumping players who consistently under perform. Connolly may not have scored much, but he gives his all and I felt we missed him, on the contrary there are many others who were simply not good enough. If you lack commitment you don't deserve to wear the shirt...simple as.

Agreed, let's put this weekends dismal outcome out of our minds and focus. We had to lose sooner or later. When was the last time we lost away? Saturday 25th September at Loftus Road, not a bad record.

Agreed, put it behind us and move on .......to Forest away....... on Friday night..... and on live TV   ......

The omens are dodgy, but we still possess enough quality (ie Tiatto, Keown & Connolly) to get into 'the mix'....

why does everyone seem to think about who should partner dublin OR connelly, why cant we just pick another 2 players out of a hat not including them or blake.....they cant do much worse can they?

Levein told BBC Radio Leicester: "When we are aggressive and on the front foot and are high up the pitch we lack pace defensively and that's worrying.

"We will do something about that but it cannot be addressed right away.

"It might be we take a different approach and that we sit deeper at home so that teams cannot get in behind us."

Great! We are going to be playing some attractive football then  Fail to see how sitting deep is going to help us score goals. Just get Stearman in at the back. He has the pace to cope!!!

After reading another story I'm not too sure wether Stearman will play when either Makin or Canero are fit.CL stated that he was pleased that Stearman could cope IF called upon again.Be a shame if he doesn't play him against Forest especially if Makin gets back in.Also did Reading 'get behind us'? I thought their first came from a shot outside the box, still CL knows best.

Does seem an odd thing to say, considering both their goals came from complete ineptitude and the complete inability to mark up from set pieces rather than them getting in behind us

And our own inability to score seemed to stem from a midfield that cannot pass the ball forward, or control it in any way, and a forward line that looked like it would be hard pushed to beat Kevin Pressman in a 100 metre sprint

But what do I know, I'm just an ungrateful fickle bonehead fan who has no right to criticise anybody employed by LCFC, but instead should clap and cheer regardless of what drivel is served up before me.......

Hopefully that midfield will not be the same personnel again.Surely Tiatto will play against Forest and I envisage a start for Williams,I'd stick with Nalis for the goal threat at least.I've always liked the idea of playing Tiatto in the centre of midfield, but that leaves us short on the left.....

The problem was that we were not defending from the front...I fail to see how sitting back is going to help us...its more likely to lead to our old friend the last minute goal.

Spot on SF,we have not got a good enough defence to sit back and invite teams to attack us.

Exactly, our defence is sadly lacking, but also to support this change of style would be extreme hypocracy...given that MA lost his job because he used this negative tactic every game. It didn't work for him, and I can't see how it will work for anyone else. Plus what team sits back at home other than Leicester...we never try to take the initiative. It seems to me that this tactic just invites teams to come to our ground and attack us...We should be the one stamping our authority at home! Not rolling over to have our bellies tickled.

If I had to sum up Leicester with one analogy, I'd say we were a toothless old fox...not remotely frightening and unable to kill off its prey.

I agree Silver Fox, no way should we start to adopt defensive tactics at home, but maybe CL is stating that the make up of the team will reflect the shortcomings highlighted by CL ie inject some pace into the centre of defence possibly a chance for Stearman, employ an energetic but disciplined defensive midfielder (in the mould of Lennon), have two hard working strikers up front, people who defend from the front, if we are going to play high tempo, pressure football then we need to have players in the side who are fit, energetic and have a strong work ethic and are disciplined and play to the team pattern, at present we dont have players who are capable of doing this so maybe CL will have to alter his tactics until he can bring the right players in.
