He doesn't need to improve - he needs to recapture form he has already shown

He's been woefully mismanaged, IMO - and he might be too fecked up in the head to get it back. But worth giving a try under a decent manager, just in case

And we cannot afford to just 'get rid' of a dozen or so players, much as we might like to, and it's unlikely we will recieve too many offers - so get used to having most of this squad around next year

If we can offload Douglas and Maybury I will be happy

De Vries and Douglas the two who will be paid off should no bids come in. Maybury has some worth to the club if no one wants him though as he does play in a few positions (not very well i hasten to add) and would be a squad player next year.

Douglas, Maybury, De Vries, Horseshit, Johnson, Kenton, Yeats, Jarrett & Newton(although he's had a couple of decent games lately) must go in a clearout. Hughes & Johansson will be good squad members but if we manage to get a top quality keeper then Hendo can go.Need top quality midfielders as a priority, We haven't had no vision or craft in there for a couple of seasons now. That's what really hurt us for the last 2 seasons.

I would get rid of all the loan players as I don't believe any are good enough to justify an extended deal beyond this season. I tend to agree with Homer and Dunc as regards Stearman I would like to see him given an opportunity under the new manager, he strikes me as the type of player who responds well to discipline. Kelly was a soft touch and the squad took liberties hopefully many including Stearman will have learnt from their mistakes.

As for the current squad most likely departures will be Tiatto, Johnson, Hammond, Douglas, De Vries apart from that I don't envisage any other departures unless we recieve decent offers. I think the club will offer NEJ a new deal and I think he will accept.
