If McGhee's Brighton side were to send City down on the last day of something that would be the worst day in our history. I can't see Wednesday staying up - they've looked pretty crap the 2 games I've seen them in this season. Don't know enough about Crewe. Milwall are a fair way behind as well so that makes them unlikely.
Anyway... to avoid the disaster of relegation, I'd get rid of Levein after the next 2 games if we don't at the very least beat Norwich (who are having a pretty crap season themselves). A new manager would hopefully get the players playing again, it might not be a long term solution but hopefully it would at least spur them on to a few wins and safety.
In the long run things are bleak. This is a crap league that takes a hell of a lot of getting out of and I can't see us bringing in the players and the manager to do it. Look how hard Wolves find it even with their money. Maybe we'll need a period like Sheff Utd and Reading of a few seasons doing ok, then a few seasons in play offs, then promotion, I hope. I can't see a promotion push next season.
So pretty depressing really.... anyone know any Russian billionaires? (or a sports shop owner would do like a la Wigan)
