I feel very sorry for CL. He's trying hard in the transfer market and he's been rejected or messed about an awful lot. Is it worse now than ever before and why? Thoughts would be appreciated.

Because we have no money and we had a poor season last year. Until we show some promise people will have doubts.

To be fair a lot of clubs are having trouble this season. there is very little money around and a lot of uncertainty at a lot of clubs re money.

Also has anyone else noticed that a lot of players seem to be moving for undisclosed figures this summer. Not sure why but there seems to be more than previous summers.

the main area he is struggling in is bringing in a striker- 3 attempts and still no joy

With MDV and DC around, new boy is bound to get loads of 1st team action.

At this moment a lot of players with and without a contract are hanging out for a better deal. As the new season gets ever closer, they will relaise that they have already got the best offer that they're going to get. This will concentrate minds and more movement will quickly follow.
