what is that all about, portsmouth sign on a free and the same day avram grant offers 4.5 million for him!! A case of helping old mates out of debt??
What?
What?
Something suspicious has cracked off.
That is astonishing. The FA should not only block it but investigate it.
Did i not make it clear enough? Which point would u like clarifying?
FA are looking to block it as players are only allowed to move once within a transfer window according to one report i read, not sure if that is correct or not though.
I was hoping for a source or some further information really... Can't see anything about it on BBC or Sky Sports?
And you're second point is true, players can't move twice in one window, or play for more than 2 clubs in a season.... which surely he would be doing both of? Hence my confusion.
Have they actually bought him, or is it just an offer?
He signed a 3½ year deal on 1st Jan - http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Lawrence-And-Kitson-Back-1763.aspx
He hasn't however played for any club other than Portsmouth this season.
I meant the bit about West Ham offering £3.5m for him.
Vital Football ran the story - http://www.westham.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=226763
Ah, cheers Boc. Vital Football isn't the most reliable source though (nor are the papers they are probably quoting from
