If you use the extra refs you can do it at all levels of the game, you can't do that with video replays.

I hadn't seen the earlier thread.

I am not a fan of video replays as it will slow the game down, and if the ref chooses not to use it there will be half an hour of complaining by the opposition.

I really can't see the additional refs being used, but then had I had lived 500 years ago I would have been happy knowing the world was flat.

Can't see that happening. Games will have to be called off because they can't find 5 people willing to be abused at the lower levels.

It could be made optional at lower levels.
