Yes, if a little, insignificant team like Liverpool beat us at Anfield, the whole club should be expunged from the human race. Has any team, in the history of Association Football, ever lost to Liverpool? I hope the Leicester team are thoroughly ashamed!

We have tried the attacking approach there - and lost by 3-4 goals. This was not what we needed this time. We needed something upon which we can build and, to have been in the game for 87 minutes, was a step forward.

It's a strange one though as whilst I do completely agree with the above post, I do also think we have been shit all season and can't recall a game off the top of my head where we have dominated the whole game and looked in control like we used to under BR.

There are definitely worrying signs, but we don't need to make a rash decision just yet - 12 points clear of relegation and 14 off 4th.

I can see the value in the argument you're making, but BR has got to try and find a way for us to take something from these games. Given that we were always going to concede, I think he needed to have a plan to at least threaten - which we just didn't.

The problem isn't with the squad, but with the slow speed of build up play (clearly tactical) and the complete lack of pressure on the ball (I don't think we're fit enough). Change those two things and I think things could fall into place - but I don't think we will.

Our lack of pressure on the ball has been terrible for at least a couple of seasons. So much time to pick passes, it's infuriating.

We weren't in the game from the 1st minute as we lost the ball straight away from KO, Kasper made a wonderful one on one save, we were completely outplayed and repeatedly gave away possession.
If that's what we're building on then relagation it is.

It was complete shit and you know it. We never remotely looked like scoring and Brendan Rodgers appears to have lost any sort of magic touch he had.

We finished 5th last season and this time we have to applaud cowering and handing Liverpool 3 points. Nah - I don't buy it

We should be grateful and happy that we lost to Liverpool - anything else would have been overachieving
