Well that was absolute dog. Especially Gray who somehow managed a level, several below the level of dogshit we were playing at....

I would like to say we had a go but I really don't think we did. We gave them far too much respect and allowed them to have too much sustained possession.

Ndidi was fantastic. Maguire was good apart from his defending. Finally, I am glad Gray was left out today.

The Premiership has lost its excitement since we won it. :(

Shit attitude, deserved to lose because we did the want to win.

Vardy, despite his goal was completely shit, again.

Midfield, shit.

Defence, played heroically but with no intent from midfield they were always up against it.

Our attitude lost this game, nice.

Back four needs a major overhaul.

With the talent we have going forward all we need to really sort out is not conceding goals and we are incapable of keeping a clean sheet. I almost want Puel to focus on that and that alone for next few weeks. Ironic given his reputation.

Maguire is probably the most frustrating player I’ve watched in a Leicester shirt in a long time. So talented, but always capable of being beaten.

Still, Liverpool at home are a difficult proposition and our away form is not great.

Also regarding 'getting too close' to defenders. I'm assuming this is something Puel has asked us to do in an effort to improve our defending as we've never really had this problem before. Is it too much trouble to cover the space a player is likely to run into before committing to early to a tackle? Arguably it got Amartey sent off against Man U and he was one of the culprits today too. Harry Maguire cost us the 2nd goal with it and it's not the first time he's done it either..

They should have had 5. Complete ****ing shite defensively for about the 3oth game in a row. FFS is it January yet?

When we lose it does not necessarily mean we were crap.
TV reporters were all saying that Salah was “amazing” and “unplayable”.
When Vardy and Mahrez score great goals we do not say the defence was rubbish.

Fantastic first ten minutes, and then we just stopped playing - deserved to lose because of it

A hopeless inability to keep hold of the ball, and a complete lack of any ideas other than whumping it up aimlessly to a lonesome Vardy. When he did get near the ball he fecked up good and proper

Amartey, Morgan and Ndidi did their best to stem the flow - ably assisted by the excellent Maguire until he fecked up completely for their second. That was pathetic. Can't remember the game but he's done that exact same thing before this season and cost us a goal - not good enough

Schmeichel's distribution was nothing short of embarrassing. Mahrez and Gray were feckin' hopeless. Albrighton pointless and Iborra awful

Wouldn't mind too much, but their back four loked there for the takng and we ddn't even other to put them under pressure

I disagree. Yes the back four are making errors but we give the ball away so cheaply that we are under constant pressure. We need to retain the ball far better. Two seasons ago Vardy and Mahrez would have provided an outlet and we would have kept the ball better all over the pitch.

You're blaming the defence for that complete shower ?

Unbelievable !!

I thought that was a good performance and we deserved a point. I can’t agree that the midfield was shit - thought Ndidi was very good. Can’t agree that Vardy was poor - he had a thankless task today. What is he supposed to do with balls being punted up to his head for the centre half to win? Can’t agree about Gray - he picked up some lovely positions and looked our most likely player to create something.

Impressed by Schmeichel today. Amartey was good defensively

managing to impress me when he runs around aimlessly showing his ball control. He has also been seen running occasionally when he hasn't got the ball (when he thinks someone might pass it to him) Notably seems to be barely able to walk when the opposition has the ball. 'Just catching my breath gaffer'. Take the money Claud. And as for Slimani .....?

I thought the game was crying out for Gray to be replaced by Okazaki at half time.

Both goals came from defensive errors in my opinion. Fuchs allowed Salah wrong side of him and Maguire, well you laid that out yourself.

Yes they are put under pressure because of gaps in the middle and not possessing the ball, but the goals were plainly defenders doing daft things against a brilliant player.

Matty James on the left wing was a puzzling one, wasn’t it?

Inevitable result. Everyone knows that we don't have the back up players of a quality to compete with the stronger sides and Vardy is our only option up front. Lots needed to improve the squad and the price for today's overly brave selection may come on Monday. Very very predictable.

Amazingly still in 8th place - we've missed good opportunities to push higher, but at time CS was sacked I think we would have settled for that. I am expecting/hoping/voodoo -dolling a superior performance against Huddersfield -
Still there's a rumour we might sign Silva this window and all will be okay
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !
