HT 1-1

We'd all have taken that like a shot.

Excellent performance for the most part. Calm and considered in possession, diligent when defending. All except for Justin of course.

After fearing a hammering, I'm stunned at how well we've done.
Does this mean that Ruud actually does have a clue what he's doing?

Did you cash out?

Their only threat is Gakpo cutting back on his right foot, yet Justin keeps letting him do it…

Justin poor. Don’t dive in like you’re playing Sunday league FFS.

I wasn’t going to watch this, I might switch off as Michael Owen is the expert half time pundit.

What has happened to Justin?

He went into a whole new level for about 6 months before his ACL. He improved beyond all recognition.

Before that, and since his return, he's been shite.

The real question is how he suddenly was a top player for a few months not that he's spent his entire career apart from that being piss poor.

Midfielders not running back into shape at a Liverpool goal kick.
A bit unlucky with the multi ball and the ball boys desperately trying to get the game going again.

We had 3 players in that corner but they restarted with a ball already by the goal so they were all out of position for the restart.

Not really their fault imo as it was good work to pen them in.

Some finish that by Gakpo. Coady and Vestergaard have defended extremely well but we've also been very, very lucky so far. It's one a piece at HT and we are in the game. Not one of us thought that might be the case before the game started. If James Justin could return to being a footballer such as he once was, we'd be in an even better position.

Mavididi's is a weird performance. He's been superb at chasing back and doubling up with Kristiansen when defending. As soon as he gets forward however, he just doesn't know what the **** to do as he passes the halfway line.

Shout out for Coady who has dragged the back four into position time and time again - even though he’s working with complete duffers

There remains no real evidence that he's a proper manager.
The people inside Manchester United were very complimentary of him at the weekend.

Note: Manchester United are a complete shit show at the minute.

Mmm… watching it again Winks should have closed that shot down a bit better as well

But Justin’s defending was just ****ing hopeless

Much better performance than I was expecting - credit where it's due. It would be miraculous if we could hold on or even get a second - but with this team and our lack of confidence - I'll take anything that isn't a thrashing. COYBs!

Be honest, we all thought we’d be five or six down by now, so fair play

Might all go downhill rapidly, but that’s not a bad 45 at all - especially compared to that wolves shitshow

They could have had him if that was the case. But they preferred Ruben Interim instead.
That's because Ruud has far from proved himself.

We are the type of club that will take a chance on people like Ruud. We have lots to gain but equally a hell of a lot to lose.

Two daft ****s have kept on picking him

He’s dogfilth

I'd say Cooper is a daft **** for that. Ruud hasn't had much choice with Ricardo being injured.

I think it's only the last game or two where we'd say it's got so bad he should give Hamza a go there because it can't be much worse - but that's hardly a ringing endorsement.
