Thanks for doing these updates Skitzo, interesting to see how they're all getting on.

We know Dewsbury-Hall is doing well at Luton. Aside from him, going purely by the numbers, it seems like the only ones who are likely to be really getting much out of their loan spells are Josh Knight and Kamal Sowah.

Hopefully Iversen and Muskwe can get regular appearances over the second half of the season too having only recently started their loans.

one of the OHL fans on FoxesTalk has said that the noises coming out over say their DoF signed Benkovic and King without speaking to the manager first and he didn't particularly want either of them

Of course he ****ing didn't want them.

They are both complete doggo.

Shirley Benkovic can't be THAT bad. I mean, Celtic fans rated him. Or does that only speak to SPL standards?

I dunno, the lad's confidence could be shredded. It'd be no surprise under the circumstances. I do wonder wtf is going on though. Praps we ought get him back in-house?

It seems to me that we have completely and utterly failed the lad actually.

Clearly our negotiations in the loan deals are not thorough enough and when he's already had multiple failed loans it is really neglect and poor planning.

This loan should have been one where he is guaranteed starts. The fact the manager didn't even want him means we didnt even ask.

Abysmal management of an asset.

That's how I tend to see it too. I know I've no real basis for thinking that but something just doesn't feel right to me. I see Benkovic's welfare, and wellbeing, as being the club's responsibility. Can the club honestly say that they are living up to that?

Watched Matty James for Covscum yesterday, whilst I thought he looked good, he by no means looked a level above. Interestingly Nathaniel Chalobah was also playing who I thought looked very bright.

What about if the only level he'll get games is League 1 and he made it clear he didn't want to drop that low, or they couldn't afford his wages, or he's not arsed about playing? Could be any, I suppose.
