What are the actual facts regarding loans?

Is it true that we can loan players for another week?
But are prem teams allowed to loan out players?
Or is it just "emergency" loans that are allowed this next week.

Premiership and SPL clubs have until midnight on Wednesday 31 January to sign players. English Football League clubs have the same deadline for full transfers, but not for loans. English Conference clubs are not bound by the transfer window system.

After midnight on 31 January, Premiership and SPL clubs cannot sign any players, on loan or full transfers, until one minute past midnight on 1 July. This window will stay open until midnight on 31 August.

Clubs in the Football League can sign players on loan outside of the transfer windows.

Outside of the transfer windows, any club may still sign players on an emergency basis with the permission of their competition's governing body, ie the Premier League.

Players who are out of contract and do not have a club, can be signed at any time.

You've got to love that level of bureaucratic pedantry!

Change the word "law" for the word "rule" before the pedants jump on my post

In actual fact, it should be at 00.00 on July 1st as that is officailly when July starts. People seem to think that midnight on 30th June is at the midnight following the day of 31st June, but in actual fact 30th June begins at the midnight following the day of 29th June. So everyone is wrong apart from me (again)

Except there isn't a 31st of June

Everyone keeps saying we can only loan players until Feb 7th. The window for loan deal actually re-opens on that date and it's not till March that this stops.

thats what I read today, the window reopens next week for one week.. Bit of a stupid rule if you ask me.....:102:
