Boston bring in Leicester keeper
Leicester City goalkeeper Conrad Logan has returned for a second loan spell at Boston United.

The Football League had given Boston dispensation to sign a keeper beyond the transfer deadline after Michel Kuipers' loan stay came to an end.

Logan played 10 games during a temporary stint at York Street earlier this year.

Boston have signed the 20-year-old on a seven-day loan and hope to extend that until the end of the season.

So we have waited until about one month before his contract expires to do this. Very smart. We'll save at least 50p.

To be fair, I suppose we were waiting to see if he would string together some reserve games ( very unlikely I know ) before trying to reach an agreement,
but bearing in mind the wages we have paid since day one, the wages paid in those two or three months are not very significant. Also, the player would expect not far off his contractual entitlement whenever the contract is cancelled, otherwise he could just sit there until the end of his contract ( quite literally in Morris's case! ) . Would I be right in thinking all contracts expire on the 30th of June?

Yeh I saw it it was a great save.
Saw it as well, well done to him. I heard somewhere else he was motm and thats not bad when you let three in! and joachim scored one for them.

Conrad Logan is an interesting one. I saw him make some howlers in the reserves highlights about a year ago and there was no way he was going to make the grade - everybody who went and saw him play said that. He looked like the fat kid who'd been stuck in goal.

From what I've seen recently though he now looks like a proper keeper. The original loan spell at Boston seems to have worked wonders. I'm sure he was going to blown out at the end of the season, but his recent improvement has earnt him his one year extension. If he continues to improve, he may be good enough for us after all.

I suppose the same thing has happened with Chris O'Grady, as he didn't really look up to it until he bulked up and went out on loan. Also, it's probably worth noting that they have both been complimented on their attitudes and determination to succeed.
