Walking from tower bridge to the finish line is a nightmare because you can't follow the route.

She beat Ian Stringer by 6 minutes and isn't happy with a time of 4 hours 16 minutes, no pleasing some people!

I wasn't happy, because I was on cue for my target time, and suffered a nosebleed at 15 miles. I must be the only twat to suffer a nosebleed whilst running a frigging marathon. Now if you don't mind, I want to continue with the self-flagellation.

I passed a wheelchair competitor at about 2 miles. I wish I'd taken it from him now.

I've got to wander up to the shop in a bit - if anyone would like to gather at the entrance to One-Stop to greet, massage and cheer me that'd be good.

There were quite a few casualties, the conditions were warmer than expected. It's very sad that one runner will not be getting her medal, and it puts my problems into perspective. RIP Claire.

I went to school in Lutterworth with Claire and have some fond memories of her. To wake up Stateside and see her on the news was surprising, shocking and dreadfully sad.
