Is the London being a terrible place to get to a joke? Even from Newcastle I can get more frequent trains there than I can to work.

The Premier League fund was created as a direct response to the £20 is Plenty campaign. The clubs that made reciprocal agreements, such as Swansea & Newcastle then set the prices at £20. The clubs have started to take part due to the creation of the PL fund, but that fund would not have been created without the £20 is plenty campaign, with Supporters Trust's such as those at Liverpool & Man Utd being very vocal about it

That made me laugh as well. I travel from near London, but if I was travelling from Leicester, London is pretty damn easy to get to. Certainly easier than say Blackpool or Burnley.
