Seems a good signing, assumed this one had gone cold considering the Keane bid.

Wonder if that was in addition to Hernandez or to encourage him to make his mind up?

Like the sound of him and good age for a centre half; experienced but years left in him

Sounds alright to me. Obviously has ability. Not a superstar type. The goals don't matter, that's what we have them pesky strikers for! And he seems to know his job is to play the ball forward (unlike the England 'defenders'!). Wonder if he likes pizza?

So we have Huth and Morgan. Then we have Wasyl and Hernandez. Then we have Benalouane and Moore.

Even if one or even two of those players depart, why on earth are we looking at another central defender (Keane)?

...because we have to have someone with a K in their name like Kante or King - that alone has to be worth £15m

Benalouane and Moore seem about as likely to feature for us as I do.

Be nice to have that threat from corners though. That's why I quite like the idea of signing Lewis Dunk. Prefer him to Keane.

And at 36 I doubt it's intended that Was plays more than a handful of matches.

So we've now got 3 decent centre backs. No harm in bringing in another, especially if he's been identified by Walsh as the right fit for us.
