The fixtures list looks pretty good in terms of picking up early points.

Our 5 games in August are all definetely winnable games. Luton away, Burnley at home, Ipswich at home, Coventry away and Southend at home. All teams that we could definetely beat I think, and it's always important to get as good a start to the season as possible.

We're going to need to get as many points as possible in those games to give us confidence for the next ones, because there are quite a few tough games coming up in September and October, playing away at all 3 relegated teams in September (WBA 9th, Sunderland 16th and and Birmingham 30th) and then the 3 relegted teams from the year before all in October! (Southampton, Leeds, Palace).


So a good August is gonna be so important this year because if we play badly in those games, we'll find it tough to do better after that and by then we could be down the wrong end again.
