Riyad Mahrez has been named African Footballer of the Year!

Congratulations Riyad, well-deserved award for our magic man!

He could also make it a double tonight as the Ballon d'Or winner will be announced.

Ronaldo won it. Mahrez seventh, Vardy eighth.

So then. Two years ago we were bottom of the league, below Hull & Burnley.
Now two years later we have two of the top ten players in Europe (official), and are in the last 16 in the Champions League.

I wonder what any of us would have said to someone telling us that.

And don't forget current champions of England.

Completely and utterly unreal. Even now 7 months after winning it, its still unreal.

GTFO sounds plausible

I still have to pinch myself. Statements like that don't apply to little Leicester City do they?

Anyway. I'm gonna nick that and put it on my Facebook page.

It's funny when I hear my 6 year old talking football with her mates from school. Turn the clock back and it was me receiving all sorts of piss taking from fans of teams who haven't won anything since fire was invented. Now our club is something the modern fans want their team to aspire to be like. It would make me happy but it's just bizarre so funny will suffice.

He's not bad.

That touch on Saturday.... my word....

Which one? The one to Slimani before the first goal, or the assist for Vardy?
The assist.

A stunning piece of control. The best compliment you can pay to that pass is to say it looked effortless.

I was talking about the assist. I can't believe how little attention it has received.

That touch for the third goal from Mahrez was possibly the most arousing thing I've ever seen.

And I've been upstairs in the safehouse.
