Didn't go to the game cause friendlies are a complete waste of time for the spectator in my opinion.

I am interested to know how the players did though, and also to see if this 'rotational' system that MA has described is true!! Surely he's not converting a direct style for a passing style?! Sounds too good to be true if it happened.

Watched it on the box and i have to say we looked pretty impressive!
ALL the new signings looked good (Blake wasnt on for long enough so dont count him in that statement) I really feel that once they gel we can win the fizzy league!!!

Wilcox looked shocking in defence IMO.Made so many mistakes and wasnt even commited in trying to rectify them

yeh pretty decent performance except wilcox was poor in defence and a nalis/williams pairing makes the midfield look very lightweight, though at the same time means we have 2 excellent passers of the ball there. makin was excellent, looks a really good player - you could tell hes had premiership experience. was surprised by williams, always had the impression he was the sort of player who held back and stroked the ball around but he seemed keen to burst forward which is good IMO, we've missed that from midfield since muzzy changed his style.
