We weren't shit tonight. In the first half, we performed well. We looked poor as soon as we took Ndidi off and Winks came on. RvN then decided to try and make us worse with every change; he succeeded.

I think the first half was controlled and composed for the most part.
It may have been controlled but it was still awful and negative against a team there for the taking.

Any half decent team would have torn them a new arse for at least 65 minutes and would have been 2-3 goals to the good whereas we just tried to cruise it. An approach that we are neither good enough or inttelligent enough to implement.

We should have gone for the second and I don’t think they would have recovered from that scoreline.

We’re in the bottom 3, we’re not a half decent team

The most "meh" I've felt about losing a game, and especially to such an inept decision from a linesman, who's got one job. I just laughed. Saved us an extra 30mins before the inevitable. I just hope the players don't feel the same sense of inevitability I do....which they probably will against Arsenal.

I agree with this. I thought the performance was poor, and United were equally shite. Really poor game of football ending with really poor officiating.

So sick of the negative walking football. It gets us nowhere but trouble.

Soumare, Bilal and Wilf were okay. Backline were fine because of how bad Man U were.

Ugarte should have been sent off, and the winner was a joke.

Only positive I can possibly, possibly scrape from it was that it was a better performance than the League Cup meeting earlier in the season.

Such a shite season.

Winks came on and was fantastic for 5 mins. We had a spell were controlled the game through him. But he had all the time in the world. No one was closing him down.
Obviously the man u manager saw this and put Zebedee to fill the space. After that he was absolutely rubbish.

My problem is that a experienced manager would have seen this and made a change to combat it. RvN did nothing.

I'm glad he took NDidi off though. We need him for the league. That was the right call.

If we’d have scored in the last minute, I can guarantee it would have been offside. The linesman had a clear view, line to look along and still got didn’t give it?
When VAR was introduced, I think most fans thought it would stop the blatent Home Town favouritism shown by referees and linesman especially to the 'big six' clubs, thereby levelling the playing field a bit for the rest of us. Take VAR away - and the officials revert to type, even when it was bleeding obvioulsy offside.

It wasa sickener - but had it gone to extra time I couldn't see us winning. Like with the Man City game we had an excellent opportunity to put away a demoralised, under performing team - and didn't - only becoming more demoralised and underperforming ourselves in the process.

Also just to add a bit more shit onto our veritable shit mountain of problems.. Jordan Ayew is not a winger ffs. He most hokd up target man type player youve ever seen. He's not got the talents or work rate for it... same fir BDCR tbh.. not a fkin winger.

Can't pretend to be arsed about the result. That winning goal was ****ing hilarious though. I'm sure they'll put it down as a mistake but ffs. You can see why officials don't want VAR either as it would be 50/50 for that having to be ruled out.

Get rid of linesman. Waste of time. Offsides are binary. It would be better to have three on field ref's.

Positives:
Mads getting more game time back (he is better than Stoly Vodka)
N'Didi returning, shows how much we have missed him in the middle
Bilal is a very good player, I really hope we keep him
Okoli was very good, not just that clearance, but also looked head & shoulders better than Faes / Vesty last night

But.....:
That was a truly shit Manchester United and you just knew they would score and then go on to win.

****ed me off:
Soumare time and again made a strange decision on passing
Harry Wanks
Daka - how ****ing much did we pay for him? Honestly, what the actual ****?

Meh:
Leicester City FC this season, what a ****ing bunch of knobs we've turned out to be.
