A lot of positives to take from that I'd say.

Not horrible overall. I was expecting far worse. Encouraging in many respects, solid performance save the first six minutes or so.

Spawny, lumbering, plastic, miserable, overrated bunch of ****ing ****s.

Played very well, pressed well and passed well. We just lacked the killer ball but Man U parked the helicopter.

Bodes very well in my opinion.

We played well for quite a long time, but lost the initiative somewhat with the substitutions; Ghezzal had nowhere near the impact of Maddison. The latter looks like he's going to be really good. I was impressed with Gray.

Schmeichel, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Silva, Ricardo, Maddison all bright and tidy.

Amartey, Gray and Iheanacho all dippy or not on it.

Vardy showed Iheanacho what to do when he came on. Ghezzal was rubbish.

Puel - I think he picked the wrong player at right back. He then changed our shape after an hour and it made us worse until Man Utd stopped playing near the end. Apart from that, he did fine.

I'm Immensely positive after that.
Maguire and Morgan great. Ricardo a fantastic footballer, Ndidi and Silva looked tidy. Maddison wanted the ball and gelled with Gray and chilwell. Iheanacho looked eager and Vardy looked dangerous.
if anything as we had such a young side I think we maybe just didn't have enough nouse to take advantage.

Thought we were great. Obviously need improvement up front but that will come. Ricardo not as good as I thought he would be. Puel got the subs about right. Silva was very good. Everyone put in a shift. Not worried about us this season at all if we play like that and can only get better.

Solid stuff. Some really excellent passing and movement from us and some very quick forwar play. Ricardo looked very good indeed and Gray showed some very nice touches. I also thought Ndidi was very tidy. Iheanacho did his best but wasn't given huge amounts to feed on. Both Silva and Chilwell ares ****ing frustrating. Silva looks really tidy at times but times the ball away or gets caught in possession to easily sometimes. Chilwell made some great forward runs but he still looked a little shakey at left back and so many crosses were wasted.

One thing is for sure, Amartey cannot start over Simpson again. Or any ****er else hopefully.

That united side is putrid. They should genuinely be ashamed of such anti football with the money spent. Crap to watch.

As people say lots of positives:

Ricardo looks excellent.
Maddison was like a fish to water.
Chilwell superb.
Nacho looks a reasonable option for Vardy.
Kasper still on it.
Mahrez looked handy.
Silva comfortable.

Gray his usual infuriating self, can’t rely on him. Big Wes looked shaky. Nacho and Vardy might struggle to gel. As for Amartey....

We are at least playing higher up the pitch which is encouraging.

Thought the subs were slightly poor and we were a bit outmaneuvered there. We also look a wee bit naive. We should have been taking turns kicking lumps out of Fred as he’d lost the plot.

Once we get the two new signings settled in and Wes gently moved on we should be fine.

All in all feel better now than I did before kickoff.

Oh, And I think Amartey was a safety net that backfired for Puel. he wasn't needed and if he hadn't played I think we'd have got at least a point.

Gray had a good game especially first half. Ghezzal looked no different to how Mahrez was for much of last season. Give the bloke a chance? No let's diss him immediately and never play him ever again.

Very harsh on Gray and a player that had very little time to make an impact in Ghezzal.

Very encouraged by that, a fine performance overall and more improvement likely over the coming weeks.

Puel has done what he said he would.

Historically expected result -but unexpectedly good performance that bodes well for the season. Felt Nacho should have had a penalty as well but hey- it was at Old Trafford

I think Morgan was just fine. looked quicker on the ball than before with Maguire Chilwell and Ricardo all comfortable on the ball around him.

shock horror BN Puel was pants the team played well we look a bloody good side with more quality to add, it will get better, I thought Gray immense tonight, Morgan is surely a sub for the next game.
