But I give you Justin, Faes, Soumare, DCR and Ayew from last week

Lack of application, you say?

But the week before they all did really well too. When was the last time Buonanotte positively influenced a game?

As the manager keeps saying, our main problem is inconsistency. If someone shows something he'll get a run of games. The problem right now is that nobody is putting a run of good performances in.

I don't have anything positive to say about this squad. They're all shit. But if you're trying to set standards, as RvN keeps saying, you cannot just throw someone in that doesn't deserve it. It sends the totally wrong message.

If Bounanotte comes on tonight and does well, he'll be step closer to deserving a chance.

So nice to see our manager laughing along with and hugging all the Yanited players isn’t it

Ayew has been piss poor 5 out of the last 6 times he's played but he's persisted with him. Faes, Justin, Vestergaard... All have been ****ing awful for weeks and weeks but he's persisted with them.

That's one of the frustration many of us are feeling; there haven't been enough changes to the starting eleven.

Like I say, nobody is doing enough with the possible exception of El Khannouss. You can just change all 11 every week but we only have a couple of teams worth of players so they'll be back in again after missing one.

The reason Buonanotte is different is because what he's been doing under RvN is clearly different to someone like Ayew. Ayew works his socks off for the team. He's piss poor most of the time but that's better than being a liability.
