Pretty poor start but we got a bit better towards the end of the half.

Some observations.

We've missed Wilf. Adds something to that defensive area of the midfield and frees up Soumare to go a bit further forward and do what he's better at in bringing the ball forward.

El Khanouss has been the standout player on the pitch again.

Thomas has been better than Kristiansen over all.

We don't work hard enough off the ball when we're in posession. Look fior the space, make runs and create options for the ball carrier ffs, I'm looking at you Ayew and BDCR.

Interesting how the second half goes. I expect Man U will get a bollocking as they were absolutely shite as could be reasonably expected.....

Luke Thomas isn’t a bad defender. Probably a good Championship level player. I’d honestly rather have him in the team over a number of others. He’s been alright in the first half, considering he rarely gets match practice.

This half we look more confident.
