Pre Match Manchester United v Leicester

They looked pretty tidy today and their tails are up now Ten Hag has ****ed off.

We are due a hiding in the league, I fear and they already put five past us, in a similar setup (admittedly with different players).

I feel relentlessly negative these days. I wish I wasn’t. We just seem so paper thin and easy to play against at times and I still don’t think Cooper has any idea what his best 11 is.

Agree that I don't see a massive need to switch to a back 5 but whilst our points and position looks ok at the moment, it will be interesting where we are after the next 8-10 games.

Ipswich and Wolves have played lots of the top teams already but we've only had to play 1 of the top 4 so far.

We've also played 4 of the 5 teams below us but we have only managed to win one of them.

We're also about the worst for shots faced and shots taken.

Sure, things could be a lot worse than they are but they also could have been better so we certainly haven't failed, we haven't been a big success either.
Thought 10 games is a good time to have a look at who the bottom six have played. Below shows the average current league position of each teams opponents to date:

When looking at the total column, Wolves have clearly had the toughest run by a long stretch. Not an awful lot in it between the rest.

In terms of home fixtures, we've had the second toughest.

In terms of away fixtures, we've had the easiest. However, the good news is that we played Palace, Ipswich and Southampton all away from home and didn't lose to any of them, and we have the home games to come.

We're staying up.

Can you please both give it a rest. It’s so tiring. Before you know, everyone would have left this forum as it’s got so bloody boring.
Could not agree more with this.

I was only thinking to myself earlier today (having read yet another thread that had descended into the ongoing sniping) that I might have to see what FT is like these days.

The difference of opinion is great. I end up agreeing with points from both sides. But the incessant name calling is tiring. Yes, you both disagree strongly with each other. Great.

I'm with you here. I'm reading less and less of this forum because every thread descends into the same pointless CF and pop back and forth.

Any interesting points in the difference of opinion are lost by the name calling and insults. It's tedious.

I think this is a really difficult run of fixtures. Need at least 4 points from Brentford/West Ham and really need to beat Wolves at home. The rest will be hoping to grab the odd point I think.

Fair to expect/hope we will have around 10 more points from the above.

So that would have us on around 20 points at the halfway mark. Would keep us, largely, on track.

Failure to beat a couple of Wolves/West Ham/Brentford and things could get quite dicey.

Looks even more difficult with those daft kick off times. The games gone etc etc

I thought we'd all played 10 games, as I forgot about tonight's match.
