M&M had his supporters at the City, and some who couldn't get rid of him quick enough. I fell in to the supporter category, but today, I realised that without him things have been so much quieter. He appears to have sold us to good owners based on the evidence so far, a great manager, some quality signings. Manchester City were not, but we are definatley heading in the right direction. So for that Milan thank you, but I'm awful glad your gone.

1-0 down at home to Yeovil, won't be long now!

I was listening to the end of the game on the radio and it finished 2-2 and Wednesday were booed off. So they are not happy in Hillsborough.

Even less so Milan etc were forced to deny that Irvine had been sacked because some joker had managed to advise the Press Association that he had been sacked and made it look official.

Milan will give him more time now I reckon as he would have sacked him by now to give the new guy some time before the Transfer deadline finishes. I can't see him sacking him afterwards unless matters suddenly get much worse. At the end of the season it will be a new story as we all know.

When is the loan deadline? Given that Mandaric does so much business on that route, I don't think Irvine can breath a sigh of relief quite yet.

When is the loan deadline?

The transfer window is open until 31 Jan.

A week after that the loan window opens again and Football League clubs will be able to take people on loan right up to transfer deadline day which, I think, is third week in March.

I think that the loan deadline is at 5 pm on the last Thursday in March.
