I cant really fault Mandaric this season, he's found the right man for the job at last and has kept his comments and input to the club (from the public perspective at least ) supportive and positive, despite shouldering massive financial losses.

I guess he's learnt from his mistakes and last season's learning curve couldn't possibly have been more severe.

In any business the owner/MD etc will generally leave well alone if things are going OK.

Last season we had problems and the top man needed to intervene, need to be public, needed to reassure etc. I think he did OK last season. His major mistake was not intervening and sacking Buttons early enough.

If he had kept quiet last season he'd have been accused of hiding.
