I think he gets away with a lot more because of his "work-rate". When I worked out the strike rates at the start of the season, our two best were De Vries and Fryatt. But because Hume always appears to be busy he escapes a lot of flak.

I believe it, but then again Hume is not that great.

I would like to see De Vries back, I think he is a decent player. He was performing well at the start of the season. He holds the ball up well and does make some cracking through balls, for a start he is 50 times better than Cort and John.

Get him back!!!

Must say he did look a little overweight in that Juve game and what is going on with his shorts.

I think when Campbell arrived his strike rate was easily the best but you can't compare it against the rest because most of them were scored against lower League opposition. At the moment he's injured but already we can see that he's not anywhere near as prolific at this level.

Why, he has been top scorer at the club for last 2 seasons, and this one.

His strike rate has improved since his Tranmere games and he is still quite young.

OK, he has to improve parts of his game but he scores for us and is all we have at the minute.

I think Steven means as an out and out Striker,he seems him more as an attacking midfielder.

I think he plays better as an attacking midfielder, he he gets worse when he gets thrown out on the right.
