That can’t be right. I was told by some on here that the Championship was for real fans and the price to watch “real football” would be less cost-prohibitive than the money-guzzling Premier League.

Probably cheaper to try and get a ticket in the away end and I bet there will be spare seats there most weeks.

Real kick in the teeth for those that missed season tickets as the cost of a season ticket is about the same as 10 x Category A games.

With a drop in the level of football, there have been reductions in match ticket prices.

For Category A games, the cheapest matchday ticket has reduced from £35 to £30 for adults, while for Category B games, there’s a decrease from £30 to £26. In some sections of the ground, ticket prices have fallen by £9.

What is a fair price for a ticket? It is exactly what the club says it is, and you will fork it out for as long as you are able: not so much pay-what-you-can, as pay-until-you-can’t.

I've praised him before on here but it's worth a repeat ; Jonathan Liew is a top writer imho.
