The sister of a leading Leicester City player has been named the new Miss Blaby.

Robyn Mattock, whose brother Joe is a Leicester City defender, has been crowned after competing against 13 other girls from the Blaby district.

The 16-year-old, who is doing her GCSEs at Guthlaxton College, in Wigston, now hopes to become a model.

Robyn, from Glen Parva, said: "It was my first time doing anything like this and I never thought I had the courage for it.

"But it's been really exciting. I love the job because you get to meet so many new people."
