If he has any sense.A sign that Drinkwater could be on the way out?
****nuts? This is ****ing ridiculous. For the first time I'm starting to regret hiring Shakespeare. If Slimani leaves because he is a 'bad character' and ****nuts Ulloa and James are kept on it is a joke. No wonder Mahrez wants to leave. And Drinkwater should do everything he can to push through a move. 'Stay here Danny and play alongside Adrien Silva or Gylfi Sigurdsson and progress your career', sounds appealing. 'Stay here and fight relegation alongside Matty f'n James', not so much.
Shakespeare talks about qualifying for Europe and then signs up Championship players.
Yes****nuts?
I get that people may not be happy with the reported stance that Ulloa took, but I struggle to think that James has done anything to warrant being called that.
It was a stream of consciousness mate. I have nothing against either of them personally. Just their lack of footballing ability at this level.I get that people may not be happy with the reported stance that Ulloa took, but I struggle to think that James has done anything to warrant being called that.
I don't see what all the ridiculous meltdown is for. We signed a player up for a contract extension. So what? It probably won't prevent another coming in and it probably doesn't mean another is leaving.
Why are you pissing your pants over this? The owners can spunk money away as they please if it doesn't prevent us strengthening. James isn't a bad option for cup games or for seeing games out. He's a squad player - probably what he's been retained for.
Provided he stays, I suspect Drinkwater would start in his place, when he returns.Because unless we're going to sign some more players this particular squad player appears to be first choice.
