I was under the impression his last name was pronounced Gruh-dell, being French and all that.

Today's commentators called him Gray-dull, to rhyme with Cradle.

Anyone know the definitive answer?

It's Grar - dle

He told Boc on a train a couple of years ago.

Does "Grar" rhyme with "bra" ?

I always pronounced it like cradle.

Whatever his name sounds like, his performance today sounded awesome.

I thought he was fantastic today. Good attitude, hard working, good stamina and very quick. Some very good tackles too!

Thought he played very well. Very hungry for the ball and caused lots of problems. Once he learns when to give the ball away, and when to keep it, he'll be a very good player.

He was the best player on the park IMO. Caused no end of problems. His crossing needs some working on though.
