The Mercury report is a bit premature I`m told, but the Maybury deal should go through before the Blackpool game.

Scowy could possibly be on his way, things are happening as we speak, this would of course free up wages for CL to bring players in, stating the obvious I know ! but let`s hope for some good news soon.

Cheers for that MB,exciting times off the field makes up for the lack of entertainment on it

Leicester pursue Hearts players

The loss of De Vries would be a massive blow for Hearts
The loss of De Vries would be a massive blow for Hearts
Leicester City have contacted Hearts with a view to signing striker Mark de Vries and full-back Alan Maybury, BBC Scotland has learned.

Leicester manager Craig Levein is keen to take the pair, who played under him at Tynecastle, to the Walkers Stadium.

Both players are out of contract with Hearts in the summer but Levein could be willing to pay a fee to entice them south in the January transfer window.

The pair are among a dozen Hearts players out of contract this summer.

I just feel we could get some momentum going if we can get these 2 in.It would give everyone a boost and may lead to a change in fortune.

Cheers MB, the man in the know!

Are things happening to the extent that he may not play tomorrow, or are things not that well advanced. You don't have to mention clubs or figures, just wondering what time scale we are looking at.

Cheers.

There is one big reason why I would like us to get De Vries,it would piss Warnock off no end  There he is thinking he's got his Man and again we nip in and steal him from under Warnocks nose!!

Cheers for that MB, it seems thing are starting to progress for CL now, and hopefully if he can wheel and deal it may just save our season.

Not sure about this one though but for a player to play in the FA Cup dont they have to be registered a week before, if this is true any new players may not be able to play until the Preston game. But great news nevertheless.
