Is he the championship find of the season?

When i first saw him play against Macclesfield i thought he looked good. He trys to play football from the back which is something we have missed, Kisnorbo is good but he does seem to hoof it and his passing/distribution isn't as good.

I don't think his and Logans addition to the team are any coincidence with the run of performances we have been having.

With players fit this would be my team.

Logan
McCarthy - McAuley - Kisnorbo
Stearman Welsh
Wesolowski - Williams - Tiatto
Hume - Hammond

Surely you mean Tiatto and Welsh the other way around. ;)

I actually think that Tiatto is better in midfield. The flexibility of those players means that they can easily move to 4-4-2 without any substitutions. Stearman drops back and welsh swaps sides.

i'd of thought it would be difficult to drop Nisse after a performance like last nights. i thought he was excellent as well

Defo!

GM IMO will become a city great, in the smae frame as the Elliotts and Taggarts! He seems to be from the old school of defending and loves to get it.

I have to say when i first heard we had signed him, i thought not another lower league player! Now i know why he was in the league 2 team of the season!

werent we saying this about matt heath 2 years ago?

Nisse is after a new contract with a premiership club, i've seen nothing much of him so far to warrant instant selection in my first team, other than last nights game.

good point!

but heath was a raising star just coming out of the youth and reserve set up! Gareth has learnt his trade and is experience and near his peak!

true, I reckon a couple of years down in the lower leagues may well have helped matt heath out no end tbh.

A touch of pace would of helped tremendously as well :)

that probably couldnt be helped but with a couple of years at northampton or somewhere like that he could have worked out how to play to the best of his own ability IMO.

then make the step back up and if it didnt then work out hey ho at least it was worht a try.

Dont get me wrong I dont blmae the lad for wanting to earn as much as possible in the championship i just think overall it would have furthered his career for the best. as we are now seeing with mcauley.

I think Heath was a good player that would of benefitted with more pace. He would never fit into a team that plays football high up the pitch. By all accounts he isn't doing to bad at Coventry. He will probably make a decent living out of playing lower league football.
